Finca Catalán de Las Mercedes is a pioneering coffee plantation that has belonged to the Hammond family since 1851 in the Chimaltenango region, Guatemala.

The farm is located in a privileged location, 1500 meters above sea level, and has an area of 100 hectares. With a rich history and a focus on sustainability, Finca Catalan not only grows coffee but also processes it in the farm's wet mill, called Beneficio Catalan, which was built in 2013.

The Hammonds' mission is to develop new and improved agricultural techniques to achieve the highest quality coffee while being sustainable and respectful of the environment. Finca Catalan has been awarded Cup of Excellence prizes and is part of various certifications with a great impact on our local communities.
